An intersection of food, nutrition & love
This is one of my favourite snacks. I like to throw some walnuts and cacao nibs on top.
So good. I'm a big fan of toasted almonds on top. If they're freshly toasted, they melt the banana a little bit too!
Yum! If you want to get "fancy" you can put coconut milk or nuts in for some additional creaminess :) That's the way I make homemade vegan ice "cream"
Thanks Jack! Coconut milk is a great call. I'm slowly transitioning over to your vegan ways ;)
I often throw in nut butter (almond usually, or last night I threw in black tahini) and/or raw cacao powder. Almond butter + cacao powder is a nice treat and a great snack after a workout. Or, if you're like me, breakfast. :)
Hi Kat, I'm sorry your comment got stuck in my spam filter!I like the sound of delicious, delicious almond butter with cacoa. It sounds just like my beloved Nutella - without all the nasty hydrogenated oils!
