One-Ingredient Recipe

The texture of frozen banana mimics that of ice cream. No milk, no sugar: you won't believe it's just one ingredient!

3 black-ripe bananas, peeled chopped and frozen

Put banana in food processor; whip into a glorious frappe. 
Drizzle with honey if you wish (optional).


  1. This is one of my favourite snacks. I like to throw some walnuts and cacao nibs on top.

  2. So good. I'm a big fan of toasted almonds on top. If they're freshly toasted, they melt the banana a little bit too!

  3. Yum! If you want to get "fancy" you can put coconut milk or nuts in for some additional creaminess :) That's the way I make homemade vegan ice "cream"

  5. I often throw in nut butter (almond usually, or last night I threw in black tahini) and/or raw cacao powder. Almond butter + cacao powder is a nice treat and a great snack after a workout. Or, if you're like me, breakfast. :)

    I like the sound of delicious, delicious almond butter with cacoa. It sounds just like my beloved Nutella - without all the nasty hydrogenated oils!
